Ottimo risultati anche per Davide Bowie, che si porta a casa 5 premi postumi e per Chance the rapper, riuscito a vincere due premi fra cui l’ambito Best new Artist e Best Rap performance. La serata dei Grammy 2017, presentata dal comico James Corden, è stata come da tradizione piena di sorprese e momenti indimenticabili: nel corso dello show si sono infatti esibiti anche Lady Gaga e Metallica, Katy Perry (che ha presentato il nuovo singolo Chained to the rhythm), Bruno Mars, i Lukas Graham, The Weeknd e i Daft Punk, Demi Lovato e Ariana Grande.
