Questa sera, sabato 18 maggio, si è svolto il Gran finale della sessantaquattresima edizione dell’Eurovision Song Contest. Come nella prima e seconda semifinale, l’Expo di Tel Aviv (International Convention Center) è gremito di persone in ogni ordine di spazio, tutti pronti ad acclamare i rappresentanti del proprio stato, ma anche tutti gli altri partecipanti una delle più importanti manifestazioni musicali a livello internazionale. Come nelle sere precedenti i conduttori dell’evento sono stati Bar Refaeli, Assi Azar, Lucy Ayoub e Erez Tal, commentatore tv che ha raccontato il successo di Netta all’Eurovision Song Contest 2018 Infatti è proprio grazie alla sua vittoria che per la prima volta Israele ospita l’Eurovision Song Contest. Sul palco si sono alternati 26 Paesi, tra cui i Big Five e il Paese ospitante, che in base al regolamento dell’ Eurovision Song Contest, hanno dritto di accedere direttamente alla finale, trasmessa in diretta in Italia su Rai 1. Nel corso della serata, in onda dalle 21 su Rai 1, si sono esibiti anche quattro ex concorrenti delle passate edizioni dell’ Eurovision Song Contest, tra cui Måns Zelmerlöw, che ha cantato Fuego con cui lacantante albanese naturalizzata greca Eleni Foureira, si è classificata seconda dell’edizione del 2018 rappresentando Cipro.
