Alcune amicizie però sono destinate a resistere, come quella tra Vanessa Hudgens e Ashley Tisdale. Vanessa trascorre tantissimo tempo con il boyfriend di lunga data Austin Butler, mentre Ashley si è sposata e ha anche dato vita a un suo canale Youtube dove la si può spesso sentire esibirsi con alcune cover. Per interpretare Ex’s & Oh’s di Elle King, la bionda Sharpay di HSM ha richiesto la presenza della sua migliore amica. Sullo schermo Sharpay e Gabriella erano in costante rivalità, mentre nella vita reale sono una vera e propria friendship goal! Per avere un loro duetto l’attesa è stata davvero lunga. Le due infatti in High School Musical non cantano mai insieme.
