Oscar 2017: ecco di cosa parla Fuocoammare, il film italiano nominato a Miglior Documentario scritto da Alberto Muraro 24 Gennaio 2017 Dopo lo straordinario risultato ottenuto nel 2014 con La Grande Bellezza di Paolo Sorrentino, l’Italia torna nuovamente a gareggiare in una categoria non tecnica agli Oscar 2017 con la nomination, appena confermata, di Fuocoammare, il film diretto da Francesco Rosi. La pellicola, nominata nella categoria Miglior Documentario, racconta la storia del piccolo Samuele, appassionato di fionde e della terraferma piuttosto che del mare che circonda la sua Lampedusa, e del momdo che intorno a lui non smette di pulsare, un universo fatto di marinai, navi e, più di recente, di barconi carichi di migranti che partono (rischiando la vita) dalle coste africane con la speranza di un futuro migliore. La vicenda è dunque affrontata con un punto di vista diversa dal solito, lontano dal classico reportage e più vicino al racconto “classico” da lungometraggio drammatico. Fuocoammare cercherà di battere la forte concorrenza rappresentata da I Am Not Your Negro, Life Animated, O.J.: Made in America e 13th. Nel frattempo, La La Land di Damien Chazelle punta a battere il record di statuette vinte da Titanic e Eva contro Eva: il musical è infatti nominato in ben 14 categorie ed è dato come strafavorito alla vittoria per il Miglior film dell’anno.
