Si sono tenuti questa notte allo Staples Center di Los Angeles i Grammy Awards 2019, il più importante award show internazionale dedicato alla musica.

La manifestazione ha visto trionfare il rapper Childish Gambino, assente alla cerimonia, in due delle categorie più importanti. Stiamo parlando del Record of the year e del Song of the Year, assegnate entrambe alla canzone This is America. In totale, l’artista si è portato a casa 4 premi, dominando così la lista dei vincitori.

I Grammy Awards 2019, vale la pena ricordarlo, sono stati l’anno delle donne. Lo show, presentato da Alicia Keys, ha visto trionfare per la prima volta un’artista femminile, Cardi B, nella categoria per il miglior album rap. Il premio più prestigioso della sera, quello per Miglior Album, è andato a Golden Hour di Kacey Musgraves.

Ottime notizie anche per Ariana Grande, che si è portata a casa il primo Grammy Award della sua carriera per Sweetener (Best Pop Vocal Album) e per Dua Lipa che ha vinto il premio per miglior artista esordiente.
