Shawn Mendes svela un altro pezzettino di Illuminate a tutte le fan che non riescono ad attendere il 23 settembre (data di uscita dell’albumI che si avvicina sempre di più: questa mattina infatti è uscita su iTunes (in esclusiva per chi ha effettuato il pre-order dell’album) e su Spotify Don’t be a fool,  uno dei pezzi presentati qualche giorno fa al Madison Square Garden di New York.

Il brano è senza dubbio una delle ballad più sofferte e intense del disco e ci presenta uno Shawn Mendes dal cuore spezzato e sofferente: la canzone, contrariamente al pop-rock dei brani presentati in precedenza, sembra tentare la strada del nu-soul, con ottimi risultati.
