La canzone non è presente nell’album Happiness Begins e in molti si sono chiesti il perché, ed è presto spiegato. Il brano in questione fa parte del reality show Songland dove, ogni settimana, artisti diversi prendono parte allo show per cercare la loro hit, una canzone perfetta. Per farlo si affidano a dei concorrenti, quattro aspiranti autori di musica che hanno l’opportunità di rilasciare la loro musica proprio grazie a una band o a un cantante famoso. Quando è toccato ai Jonas Brothers, la band dei tre fratelli ha scelto proprio Greenlight scritta dal giovane Able Heart che ha conquistato il cuore dei fan. La risposta alla canzone, infatti, è stata fantastica anche da parte di chi normalmente non è un fan dei JB.
