Dopo l’addio di Jennifer Morrison anche Rebecca Mader ha annunciato che lascerà la serie. Le uniche conferme per ora per la prossima stagione sono Colin O’donoghue, Lana Parrilla e Robert Carlyle. Molte voci danno infatti anche Ginnifer Goodwin e Josh Dallas in partenza. L’attrice, che interpreta Zelena, ha affermato su Instagram che la decisione non è stata totalmente sua. Miei cari, ha scritto l’attrice di Once upon a time. Prima di tutto voglio congratularmi con Adam, Eddie, Lana, Bobby e Colin per il rinnovo di Once upon a time. Sono davvero felice per tutti voi e cosa più importante per i fan che potranno continuare a seguire la serie. Molti mi hanno chiesto se mi unirò alla settima stagione. Volevo far sapere di persona a tutti i voi che sfortunatamente non ci sarò. Non è stata una mia scelta ma una decisione creativa. Una decisione che comprendo e rispetto. La cosa più importante è che sappiate quanto voi fan significate per me, ha continuato Rebecca Mader. Ho detto più volte che essere parte di una serie così speciale ha fatto sì che in qualche modo potessi cambiare la vita di qualcuno. Questo ha moltissima importanza per me. Volevo farvi sapere che anche io sono cambiata. Non solo per aver potuto interpretare un personaggio così ben scritto ma anche grazie al pubblico. Ho ascoltato le vostre storie, i vostri dolori, le vostre sfide e i vostri successi. Vi ho sentito veramente vicini. Voglio ringraziarvi tutti. Non vedo l’ora di scoprire cosa mi aspetta. I am truly happy for you all and most importantly for the fans that will get to keep tuning in each week to see where they will take us. A lot of you have been asking if I will be joining everyone in Season 7, so I wanted to let you know personally that unfortunately I am not. This wasn’t my choice but a creative decision of the shows that I totally respect and understand. The most important thing is that you all know how much you mean to me. I am told frequently both online and in person that by being a part of such a special show I have in some way changed someone’s life. This is hugely meaningful to me. I am here to let you know that I am the one who has been changed. Not just by playing such a well written multi-dimensional character but by the fandom itself. I have heard your stories, your pain, your struggles, your achievements and I have truly felt you, I have learned. I have grown. I am a better person because of you, the fans and everyone that blessed me with this opportunity to play such an iconic role. Congrats all and thank you! I look forward to the next.
