Anche se siamo sicuri che molti di voi, come noi, hanno acquistato Cannonball a scatola chiusa, abbiamo comunque pensato di farvela ascoltare e di farvi leggere il testo. Il brano, scritto da Sia, parla di un momento molto difficile in cui la protagonista si trovava, pensava di non riuscire ad uscire da questo stato di paura, ma nel corso della canzone decide di ritrovare la libertà, chiudersi quella porta alle spalle e volare, come fa una palla di cannone sparata nel cielo. Già dal primo ascolto è una canzone che ti entra in testa, ma ha anche un testo molto profondo e con un messaggio importante e, ovviamente, la voce di Lea è straordinaria come sempre.
