Il quartetto, originario di Watford, è riuscito a vincere la finalissima del talent di Simon Cowell lo scorso 3 dicembre, in una sfida all’ultima canzone contro Grace Davies. Il gruppo, composto da Myles, Ashley, Jamaal and Mustafa, è la prima band a vincere X Factor Uk dai tempi delle Little Mix, nel dicembre 2011. Il loro punto di forza sta in un mix irresistibile di musica r&b, pop e latina confluito nel loro primo singolo inedito, intitolato Dimelo. Per l’edizione 2017, X Factor Uk ha deciso che per la prima volta gli artisti in finale avrebbero dato vita ad un inedito in collaborazione con un artista internazionale. Nel caso dei Rak-Su la scelta è ricaduta su Wyclef Jean, che ha partecipato al pezzo Dimelo, disponibile online già da lunedì 4 dicembre. I Rak-Su si erano presentati ai provini con un brano di Justin Timberlake, intitolato ma erano poi stati costretti da Simon Cowell a interpretar un loro pezzo, intitolato I’m feeling you.
