Il piccolo, chiamato Zephaniah, è il figlio di Zion Marley, il figlio avuto da Lauryn Hill nel 1997 con Rohan Marley, uno dei figli del celeberrimo e compianto Bob Marley, massimo esponente del reggae a livello mondiale. La notizia della nascita del piccolo Zephaniah (il cui nome è legato ad un verso della Bibbia ebraica) è stata confermata sui profili social del padre Zion, a cui Lauryn Hill aveva dedicato un toccante pezzo in quello che è stato di fatto il suo unico disco di inediti.
