American Music Awards 2017: tutti i vincitori, trionfo per Shawn Mendes e Bruno Mars

Bruno Mars e Shawn Mendes sono i trionfatori degli American Music Awards 2017. La cerimonia di premiazione, tenutasi lo scorso 19 novembre al Microsoft Theater di Los Angeles, ha incoronato l’artista r&b con un totale di 6 premi: dietro di lui il collega canadese, che è stato capace di portarsi a casa 2 riconoscimenti. Anche il più prestigioso e atteso dei premi, l’Artist of the year è andato a Bruno Mars (che però non era presente alla cerimonia) mentre il Best New Artist è stato assegnato a Niall Horan. Per quanto riguarda il genere country, infine, ottimo risultato per l’asso pigliatutto Keith Urban tornato a casa con 3 premi.

La serata degli American Music Awards 2017 è stata ricchissima di ospiti e performance a dir poco spettacolari. Prima fra tutte, ricordiamo quella di P!nk, che ha cantato Beautiful Trauma appesa accanto ad un hotel a diversi metri di altezza (qui il video!). Oltre a lei, vale la pena di citare anche la premiere mondiale live di Wolves, il pezzo di Marshmello e Selena Gomez e, dulcis in fundo, il tributo di Christina Aguilera a Whitney Houston. A presentare lo show Tracee Ellis Ross, attrice molto celebre negli USA per i suoi ruoli nelle serie Black-Ish e Reed Between the Lines.

La serata si è conclusa alle ore 5 del mattino (ora italiana, chiaramente) con un medley di Diana Ross, che à stata insignita del prestigioso Lifetime Achievement Awards.
